Sakurai Atsushi and his cat

Today is Sakurai's birthday - I drew this art in January and February, specifically to publish today.

I love Sakurai very much and am grateful to him for everything he does. Despite the fact that his work is quite gloomy, I think he is very good at comforting. He does this as a person who is well acquainted with the dark sides of life and has experienced many difficult moments, and that is why his words have such great power.

Thanks to him, I was able to understand the full value of my own (and indeed any) creativity: Buck-Tick music helps me fight depression, and if my art can also help someone smile and feel better, even for a second, then that's wonderful.

I want to thank Sakurai and say that I love him very much.

I hope that he will be able to do what he loves for many more years and will feel the love of his fans.
